Wisconsin Literacy Inc. division Wisconsin Health Literacy (WHL), in partnership with eight other states, will host the first-ever Health Literacy Collaborative Summit, Madison365 reports. The event will be held on Monday and Tuesday, April 8–9 at the Monona Terrace Community and Convention Center.

The summit will gather health care professionals, educators, and nationwide advocates to explore strategies for improving health literacy and achieving health equity. It will feature a new framework from the Rippel Foundation, speakers including Silas Buchanan, Dr. Orkan Okan, Laurelle Myhra, Erik Salna, Dr. Saida M. Abdi, and co-presenters Komal Razvi and Jason Shulist.

Topics will include eHealth equity, education, climate science, trauma resilience, and digital health strategies.
