Westside Community Connections session this month centers on BRT

The Madison Common Council announced that this month’s Westside Community Connections session will feature the Department of Transportation and Metro Transit and be held via Zoom on Thursday, April 18, at 6 p.m. according to the city of Madison

Tom Lynch, director of transportation, and Shanae Meacham, outreach specialist of Metro Transit, will present on the cost of Bus Rapid Transit (BRT), which will include a timeline for its operation. They will also update residents on vehicle and stop accessibility.

There will be limited time for a Q&A session at the end of the presentation. Attendees are encouraged to submit questions in advance to Lorissa Banuelos, community engagement strategist, via email, including “Westside Community Connections” in the subject line.
