A downtown Madison office and restaurant building at 131 W. Wilson St. has once again reopened, according to a statement from the city. The building was approved for reopening after Madison building inspectors verified the building conditions are safe to reopen. In September, the building was closed due to safety concerns. In October, the building reopened after proper steps were taken to stabilize the structure. After monitoring was stopped, the building was again closed and vacated in December. The city stated it is continuing to work with the building owner to ensure proper monitoring and safety precautions.
