The city of Madison announced that West Washington Avenue will be fully reopened to traffic by 6 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 5. The reopening marks the completion of the reconstruction project that included resurfacing the street and replacing utilities on the street between Bedford and Broom Streets. Crews also installed a parking-protected bike lane on South Bassett Street between West Washington Avenue and West Main Street.
