Last year, Seritage Growth Properties of New York purchased the 110,000-square-foot Sears store at West Towne Mall for $7.2 million from Sears, Roebuck and Co.

Now, Seritage is planning to revamp and downsize the store to make way for a new, 31,000-square-foot Dave & Buster’s restaurant.

Another retailer may soon be named for another 24,000 square feet of space. The Sears store would still occupy 53,000 square feet in the mall.
