“West Place,” a mixed-use, urban-style development proposed for the corner of South Gammon and Mineral Point roads failed to get initial approval from the Urban Design Commission according to a story in the Wisconsin State Journal.
The project, which could eventually add 17 buildings to the 23-acre site, wasn’t specific enough, and neighbors had concerns about the project’s impact.
The master plan and phase I construction was deferred to the Plan Commission’s Feb. 20 meeting.
Livesey Co. is the developer.
