Wendigo closes after 12 years in business

Stoughton’s Wendigo announced earlier in May on social media that it would close after 12 years in business. May 21 was its last day of service.  

“We have had the unbelievable honor to be at the heart of your town and a part of your lives and for that we will be forever grateful,” the owners said in a statement. If you came in once to check it out or were here every week (you know who you are), we cannot say thank you enough for coming along on this great adventure.”  

Co-owner Cale Ryan told the Wisconsin State Journal that he is investing in Famous Yeti’s Pizza and event space Heron Hall, the other businesses he owns with his wife Caitlin
