In a recent report from the Wisconsin Economic Development Corp. (WEDC), data suggests wage and salary income across the state and the nation will fall by 9% in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, with full economic recovery delayed for two years.

The “Wisconsin Tomorrow – An Economy For All” report was submitted to lawmakers and Gov. Tony Evers and forecasts that wages in the state will grow 7% in 2021 but full pre-pandemic income and employment numbers will not return until the end of 2022.
