WEDC awards $200,00 in tax credits for United Alloy expansion

The Wisconsin Economic Development Corp. has announced that United Alloy of Janesville is eligible for up to $200,000 in state tax credits to help fund an expansion and create up to 32 jobs.

The announcement was made today at the Janesville company, a custom metal fabricator that also provides powder coating services.

WEDC will provide United Alloy up to $200,000 in Development Opportunity Zone Tax Credits to expand and equip its warehouse for growth in various industries served by the company, including power generation and telecommunications. The credits are designated only for business development in Kenosha, Janesville, and Beloit.

WEDC will be distribute the tax credits annually over a three-year period in direct relation to the company’s capital investment and number of new, full-time positions created and filled over that time period.
