The Wisconsin Economic Development Corp. and the University of Wisconsin System’s Center for Technology Commercialization have named six small companies that will each receive a $100,000 Small Business Innovation Research Advance grant, according to a Wisconsin State Journalreport.
The innovative startups are Madison-based AmebaGone Inc., NCD Technologies, Stem Pharm, and Filament Games; Imbed Biosciences Inc. of Fitchburg; and NanoAffix Sciences of Wauwatosa. Businesses awarded the grants have already received federal funding from the Small Business Innovation Research or Small Business Technology Transfer programs to develop high-tech innovations.
