Nine regional economic development organizations and three diverse chambers of commerce across Wisconsin will receive ongoing assistance from the Wisconsin Economic Development Corp., according to a release from the organization. The funding aims to help these strategic partners during the COVID-19 pandemic as they face private-sector funding challenges.

Among other organizations, Madison Regional Economic Partnership (MadREP) will receive $100,000 in the form of block-style grant funding. Additionally, WEDC will provide grants to three diverse chambers of commerce — the African American Chamber of Commerce of Wisconsin, the First American Capital Corp., and the Hmong Wisconsin Chamber of Commerce.
