The Wisconsin Chamber Orchestra (WCO) presents “Convergence” on Thursday, Oct. 10 at 7:30 p.m. for a live audience in Overture Center’s Capitol Theater and recorded for an album release in spring 2025.

Composers featured on this album include Grammy- and Emmy-nominated composers and a Pulitzer Prize Winner for Music. Tickets are on sale and can be purchased online or by calling the Overture Center Box Office at (608) 258-4141.

This will be the second album of the five-year, five-album “Musical Landscapes in Color” project. Falling under the new Composer Collective series, this initiative aims to highlight an array of living, diverse composers throughout the U.S. The first album, “Harmony in Black” was released on March 14.

In its second year, the “Musical Landscapes in Color” project has garnered support from major donor American Family Insurance as well as the Madison Community Foundation. The initiative also engages with community partners such as the UW–Madison Odyssey Project, providing access to composers through lectures, bringing students into the concert for the performance and pre-concert discussion, and more.
