Apogee Wausau Group Inc. is on the hook for $250,000 for nearly two dozen alleged violations of the state’s air pollution laws under a settlement announced Monday by Wisconsin Attorney General Josh Kaul, Wisconsin Public Radio reported.
The company specializes in coated materials like flooring and wall decor.
According to the outlet, on March 2, the Wisconsin Department of Justice filed a civil complaint in Marathon County Circuit Court, alleging the company committed 22 violations of the state’s air pollution control laws.
Apogee allegedly failed to conduct periodic emissions tests for soot pollution and volatile organic compounds, and more.
