Waunakee recently welcomed its first Nicaraguan restaurant on North Century Avenue, according to the Waunakee Tribune.
El Cuate, opened by Beymar and Eyner Rugama, offers traditional Nicaraguan cuisine on a menu that is starting small but planned to expand. The restaurant also offers breakfast at 9 a.m. It currently employs seven staff members, some part-time.
