A new barber shop, Kings Cuts, was opened last month in Waunakee by owner Mike Horton, according to The Waunakee Tribune. The business is located at 305 West St.
Horton attended the Paul Mitchell School last year and graduated in July before opening Kings Cuts near his residence. The barber shop is housed in the former R.G. Heating and Air Conditioning location, which now has a barber pole in front and has received aesthetic interior improvements.
Kings Cuts will offer men’s services such as haircuts, beard trims, scalp treatments, and shaves; however, Horton envisions renting space to others specializing in manicures or women’s hair services. Horton also recently provided 25–30 haircuts for young students the Saturday before school reopened.
