The Waunakee Food for Kidz celebrates 20 years of service on October 19 at its annual packaging event, as reported by the Tribune Enterprise.
Founders Mick and Jeamie Holm started the nonprofit chapter and have provided 4.4 million meals. Waunakee Food for Kidz is an affiliate of Feeding Children of Stewart.
The Holms have helped Stoughton begin its Food for Kidz event, sent volunteers to Haiti to distribute packaged meals and even shipped Waunakee-packaged food to Ukrainian refugees.
