Developer Terrence Wall, manager of Main Street Waunakee LLC, hinted that he could file a second lawsuit against the Village of Waunakee related to redeveloping the 200 block of West Main and West Second Streets into a proposed apartment/retail complex.
According to a Waunakee Tribune story, the village denied Wall’s first request to rezone the project on grounds that it didn’t meet the comprehensive plan. Main Street Waunakee filed a $49 million notice of claim against the village alleging conflict of interest and bias. Waunakee’s insurer denied the claim.
