The owner of Sparkling Clean Air Duct Cleaning and the Almost Anything home remodeling company has been charged with four felonies for filing fraudulent Wisconsin income tax returns for the years 2015–18, according to a statement from the Wisconsin Department of Revenue.
The complaint alleges Thomas P. Donarski failed to report taxable gross receipts of $485,531 over four years. During that time, Donarski is accused of having gross receipts of $751,835 and only reporting $266,304. The DOR obtained sales ledgers, bank statements, and invoices as evidence of the underreported income. If convicted, Donarski could face up to 24 years in prison, a $40,000 fine, or both.
