Waunakee-based Partita has started producing face shields rather than violins in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, according to a WisBusiness report.
Started in 2019 by April Weir-Hauptman and David Hauptman, and a finalist for the Wisconsin Technology Council’s Governor’s Business Plan Contest, Partita 3D prints affordable violins, marketing the instruments to students and schools.
Due to the current crisis and demand for personal protective equipment, Partita has temporarily shifted its business focus to create face shields for local health care workers.
