WARF ordered to pay $31.6M for breach of contract

The Wisconsin Alumni Research Foundation (WARF) has been ordered by a federal judge to pay $31.6 million to Washington University in St. Louis for breach of contract related to royalties paid in the sale of an AbbVie Inc. kidney-disease drug, according to a Bloomberg Newsreport.

WARF is reviewing the decision.
