Claiming patent infringement, the Wisconsin Alumni Research Foundation (WARF) has filed suit against Apple, Inc. for allegedly using WARF-patented technology in the A7 processor that’s used in the company’s iPhone 5S, iPad Air, and iPad Mini with Retina Display. The lawsuit seeks to bar Apple from further infringement and seeks monetary damages and fees. The patent in question was granted in 1998.
