While the cause of a fire that resulted in a total loss to a construction business warehouse has not been determined, the blaze caused an estimated $250,000 in damage, according to a statement from the city of Madison. The fire in the 600 Block of East Badger Road produced heavy smoke and flames visible from the Beltline Highway. According to the statement, “the contents of the building were flammable in nature, combined with the use of fireworks resulted in a complete loss of the structure valued at approximately $250,000.” The fire is still under investigation.
