U.S. stocks saw mixed trading on Wednesday.

The S&P 500 rose 0.2% Wednesday afternoon and is near its all-time high set a couple of weeks ago, with it sitting at 6,857 at 12:31 p.m., according to the Associated Press. The Dow Jones Industrial Average jumped 428 points, or 0.9%, after setting its own record the day before, and is currently at 48,319. The Nasdaq Composite was down 0.3%, sitting at 23,412.

Chip company Advanced Micro Devices jumped 8.6%, while AI stocks, which had been rising at a steady pace, have remained “shaky.”

Nvidia found itself vacillating between gains and losses on Wednesday.
