Trade picked up slightly on Wall Street early Wednesday following the stock market’s first loss in eight days, according to the Associated Press.
Futures for the S&P 500 and Nasdaq ticked up 0.1% before the bell, and Dow Jones Industrial Average Futures were up 0.2%.
The price of gold continued an upward climb after topping $4,000 per ounce Tuesday for the first time ever.
Equifax gained 2.5% before the bell after the credit reporting agency reduced the price of its mortgage credit score product by more than 50% below competitor Fair Isaac’s.
U.S. benchmark crude oil rose 81 cents to $62.54 per barrel. Brent crude, the international standard, was up 79 cents to $66.24 per barrel.
