Thanks to an investment in facility improvements and job creation, Milwaukee Electric Tool Corp. is eligible for up to $1.5 million in state tax credits and a $250,000 loan to help finance the improvements, according to Gov. Scott Walker’s office.

While the exact size of the capital investment has yet to be determined, Milwaukee Electric Tool plans to expand its research and development center on Lisbon Road in Brookfield and is creating 103 new jobs over the next three years, some of which already have been filled.

The company, a subsidiary of the Hong Kong-based Techtronic Industries Co. Ltd., now employs more than 400 people.
