Walk to End Alzheimer’s coming to Warner Park

The Alzheimer’s Association invites Dane County area residents to join the Walk to End Alzheimer’s on Oct. 6 at Madison’s Warner Park, 2930 N. Sherman Ave. The event begins at 8:30 a.m., with an opening ceremony at 10 a.m. and the walk at 10:15 a.m. The walk is chaired by Patrick Rhode.

The event will feature superheroes and 501 StarWarz characters. There will also be hot dogs and chips available to participants following the walk. Jeff Levering, a sportscaster who covers the Milwaukee Brewers, will be the honorary chair for the 2024 Walk to End Alzheimer’s, supporting all 27 Wisconsin walks.
