Illinois-based Walgreens Co. announced an expansion at the company’s DeForest location, creating about 115 jobs and making it eligible for $2 million in tax credits through the Wisconsin Economic Development Corp. (WEDC). The facility currently employs about 1,000 workers and supplies stores in Minnesota, Illinois, Iowa, South Dakota, and Wisconsin. The expansion should be complete by fall.
