The Wisconsin Economic Development Corp. (WEDC) will move its Sept. 21–Oct. 2 Global Trade Venture to an online format to allow more Wisconsin businesses to connect with global export partners, according to a report from the EIN Presswire.

The WEDC regularly leads a half dozen Global Trade Ventures to international markets each year; however, with restrictions on travel during the pandemic, the organization made the decision to hold the event online.

The first virtual Global Trade Venture will connect Wisconsin companies with markets in Germany. Instead of office visits and plant tours, WEDC will arrange online meetings with senior decision-makers and will also facilitate the use of technology for these meetings.
