A new, locally owned Madison clinic, Animal Center for Emergency and Specialty (ACES), is introducing a different model of veterinary medicine to the area.
The ACES clinic, which opened May 5, aims to fill the gap between primary and emergency care and help pet owners avoid long wait times for services, with daily urgent care hours from 5 p.m.-2 a.m. and oncology services Monday-Thursday from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. The clinic offers same-day scheduling and referrals.
ACES also accepts referrals for advanced and overnight monitoring services and offers specialty tests and imaging, including ultrasounds and biopsies.
