Monk’s Bar & Grill in Verona has closed due to the loss of staff, according to a Wisconsin State Journalreport. Co-owners Greg Frankov and Greg Hedrich are awaiting approval to redevelop the site, at 1050 N. Edge Trail, and turn it into a mixed-use building with apartments and commercial space. Staff who hadn’t left before the closing of the restaurant were offered positions at the Monk’s restaurants in Middleton or Sun Prairie.
