A proposal for a 130-unit senior living facility is moving forward after its preliminary plan was approved by the Verona City Council on Monday, the Verona Press reported.
Applicant Erdman wants to build the project on the Midthun property located west of County Hwy. M, south of Morningside Boulevard and east of the proposed Grassland Terrace.
According to the report, the facility will house 60 units for independent living, 40 units for assisted living, six respite care units and 24 units of memory on 3.75 acres. It will employ over 30 people and offer dining services, fitness facilities and other common areas.
