Verona business Moments to Cherish Bridals earlier this month donated over 1,000 new designer dresses to Agrace Thrift Store, The Verona Press reports. The entire donation included wedding, bridesmaid, prom, and quinceañera gowns, which were taken to the nonprofit’s East Towne Mall pop-up store.

Moments to Cherish Bridals owner Arlene DeForest relocated her shop from Fitchburg to Verona roughly eight years ago and cited the need to downsize her inventory behind her decision to donate the dresses.

Agrace Thrift Store will host a “Dream Dress for Less” pop-up sale at its East Towne Mall location from March 13-23, or as supplies last. Proceeds from the sales will benefit Agrace’s mission to provide hospice and supportive care services to patients across southern Wisconsin.

Moments to Cherish Bridals will continue operation in Verona by appointment Tuesday-Saturday.
