Sales of cars and trucks in the nine-county south-central Wisconsin region rose slightly from March 2013 to March 2014. According to Reg-Trak of Waterloo, regional sales increased to 3,473 vehicles, compared to 3,466 a year ago. The news was better in Dane County, which experienced a 2.27% increase in sales — from 1,671 in March 2013 to 1,709 this year. Truck sales continued to lead the pack, rising 1.55% regionally and 8.45% in Dane County year over year.
