The University of Wisconsin announced a plan to get faculty and staff a 4% pay increase over the next two years, beginning with a 2% increase this summer, according to a Wisconsin State Journal story.
UW staff earning less than $15 an hour will also see an increase.
The pay plan still needs to be approved by state legislators, and certain employment conditions apply.
