UW System President Kevin Reilly has announced he will leave his job at the end of the year. Reilly has served as system president for the past nine years. He has faced several challenges and controversies during his term, including a payroll glitch that resulted in overpayments to employees totaling $33 million, state funding losses, and tuition freezes ordered by the state Legislature after $650 million in previously unknown UW reserve funds was disclosed.
