UW recognizes 2022 Regent Scholars

The University of Wisconsin System announced three recipients of the 2022 Regent Scholar Awards. The grant recipients are: 

  • Dr. Todd Hillhouse, assistant professor in the Department of Psychology at UW–Green Bay, is recognized for his work, “Targeting Nociceptin and Kappa Opioid Receptors for Treatment of Cocaine Addiction and Depression.” 
  • Dr. John Chan, assistant professor in the Department of Chemistry at UW–Oshkosh, is recognized for his work, “A Novel Chemotherapy to Treat Parasitic Flatworms Causing Human and Animal Disease.” 
  • Dr. Mark Levenstein, assistant professor in the Department of Biology at UW–Platteville, is recognized for his work, “Aryl Fluorinated Ethers to Develop the Next Generation of Agrochemicals.” 

The awards recognize UW System faculty for extraordinary efforts in support of undergraduate research, innovation, and entrepreneurship.
