The U.S. Department of Commerce has invested $299,740 in Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act funding to boost the University of Wisconsin–Madison and help it respond and recover from the economic impact of the coronavirus pandemic, according to a release from the U.S. Department of Commerce’s Economic Development Administration (EDA).
The university is one of more than 850 existing, high-performing EDA Economic Development District, University Center, Tribal, and Revolving Loan Fund grant recipients invited to apply for supplemental funding under the CARES Act.
