UW receives first doses of COVID-19 vaccine

The University of Wisconsin–Madison has received 1,000 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine and plans to complete vaccinations for its highest priority group within two weeks, according to a release from the university.

Phase 1a eligible individuals include most frontline health care workers and others in direct contact with COVID-19 patients, or in direct contact with the virus that causes COVID-19 or virus specimens. This group also includes health care personnel and long-term facility residents.
