UW Health Rehabilitation Hospital has been ranked in the top 10% of rehabilitation hospitals, according to a recent press release.

The rankings, presented in the Netsmart PEM Version 2 Report Card, were determined by a Netsmart program evaluation model. It provides facilities with a composite performance score and percentile ranking drawn from more than 80% of all inpatient rehabilitation facilities in the country.

The Netsmart report card uses the indicators of efficiency and effectiveness contained in the Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility Patient Assessment Instrument, a reporting tool for the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility Prospective Payment System and Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility Quality Reporting Program. The goal of the report card is to recognize high-performing facilities for quality care that is timely and patient-centered.

Located at 5115 N. Biltmore Lane, the 58,000-square-foot, 50-bed UW Health Rehabilitation Hospital offers comprehensive inpatient care. It provides specialized programming for patients who have experienced a stroke, brain or spinal cord injuries, amputations, complex orthopedic injuries, and other major conditions.
