UW Health and Marshfield Clinic Health left the AboutHealth partnership on Jan. 1, saying in a joint statement that they will continue to focus on their own integrated health systems, according to a report in the Wisconsin State Journal.
Their departure leaves six remaining AboutHealth members: Aspirus, Aurora Health Health Care, Bellin Health, Gunderson Health System, ProHealth Care, and Theda Care.
AboutHealth was one of two partnerships formed by health systems in recent years. The other, Integrated Health Network of Wisconsin, includes SSM Health (Dean Clinic and St. Mary’s Hospital in Madison), among others. UnityPoint Health-Meriter is working on an agreement with UW Health, according to the report.
