Forbes has again named UW Health one of America’s Best Employers by State this year in Wisconsin and Illinois.
The ranking is based on an independent survey of more than 160,000 employees working at companies with a minimum of 500 employees across the United States.
The 2025 evaluation spanned all industry sectors and included approximately 4.4 million employer ratings collected over three years.
UW Health ranked No. 21 in Wisconsin, up from No. 33 last year. The health system ranked fifth in Illinois, up from 10th last year, and achieved the highest ranking for a health system in Illinois.
