UW Health announced Tuesday it has once again been designated a LGBTQ+ Healthcare Equity Leader by the Human Rights Campaign Foundation, according to WMTV15.
Three of the four Wisconsin facilities that earned the designation were UW Health hospitals — the winners include American Family Children’s Hospital, University Hospital, UW Health East Madison, and Froedtert Menomonee Falls Hospital.
A record 1,065 health care facilities participated in the survey this year, and the four from Wisconsin are among 348 that received a top score of 100.
