This holiday season, Urban Triage has joined forces with Zuri’s Furry Friends and Starbucks for its year-end campaign, #HousingOurFuture.

Zuri’s Furry Friends, operational since May 2023, is led by 5-year-old Zuri, who makes bears alongside her family. They have successfully sold over 600 “stuffies,” expanded their operations with a trailer, and introduced an additional bear-stuffing machine. To purchase a bear, click here. The bear can be kept, gifted, or donated through Urban Triage to a child or youth in a shelter, a disadvantaged family, or someone fleeing domestic violence.

In addition, Urban Triage is collaborating with Starbucks to gather essential items for the homeless in Dane County. Donation bins are available at 6512 Monona Drive Pier 37 in Monona as well as these Madison Starbucks locations:

  • 4202 E. Washington Ave.;
