Urban League’s 4-part financial empowerment series returns

The Urban League of Greater Madison will once again host a four-part financial empowerment series to support financial literacy, Madison365 reports. The series will feature guest speakers from BMO, Summit Credit Union, UW Credit Union and Johnson Financial Group.

The series is aimed to prepare attendees for steps like starting a business, saving for children’s college and more. Topics will include budgeting, credit and navigating debt.

The financial empowerment series will be held throughout April, with sessions taking place at the Black Business Hub, 232 S. Park St., from 6-8 p.m. Registration is free and available here.
