Kids interested in video game coding and design can sign up for the annual Spring Break Game Design and Coding Day on March 25.
Part of the Urban League of Greater Madison’s My Brother’s Keeper initiative, the day offers a full itinerary of video game design at the MYArts Building at 1055 E Mifflin St.
The event is free and open to all middle and high school students in the Greater Madison area.
“We have an exciting slate of workshops scheduled for participants this year, including workshops led by Maydm focusing on 8-bit game design, Badger Bots focusing on programming robots and Dr. Chen and Dev Ahluwalia focusing on artificial intelligence,” the Urban League said in a statement.
“Don’t miss this opportunity to develop your coding skills, learn about artificial intelligence and the world of robotics and learn more about careers in the related fields.”
Attendees will receive an event T-shirt, lunch and afternoon snacks.
