The Urban League of Greater Madison is launching its inaugural HUD-approved homebuyer certificate series, taking place in the new Black Business Hub at 2352 S. Park St. The sessions will be held on April 25, April 30, and May 2 from 5:30–8 p.m.
The sessions will explore essential topics ranging from mortgages to closing procedures. Graduates of the classes will receive a homebuyer certificate recognized by the city of Madison and many lenders and important for participation in down payment assistance programs.
Attendees will benefit from the wisdom of professionals and industry experts who provide guidance through each stage of the homebuying process. The sessions will also provide an opportunity to connect with fellow aspiring homeowners, industry professionals, and community members.
