Urban League hosting 4-part Financial Empowerment Series

The Urban League of Greater Madison announced its four-part Financial Empowerment Series. Each session will provide practical knowledge and resources needed to achieve financial freedom.

The sessions include:

  • May 7 — Budgeting (Urban League of Greater Madison): Learn the fundamentals of budgeting to efficiently manage finances and reach goals;

  • May 14 — Debt Reduction (Summit Credit Union): Discover proven strategies to reduce and manage debt;

  • May 21 — Credit Repair (UW Credit Union): Learn actionable steps to repair and improve credit score; and

  • May 28 — Homebuyer Basics (Johnson Bank): Gain insights into the homebuying process, covering everything from mortgages to navigating the real estate market.

Each session will also provide a catered meal. Those who attend all four sessions will receive a $100 Home Depot gift card.

All sessions will be held on Tuesdays from 6–8 p.m. in the Black Business Hub at 2352 S. Park St. Preregistration is strongly encouraged, and space is limited. Click here to secure a spot.
