The Urban League of Greater Madison announced its four-part Financial Empowerment Series. Each session will provide practical knowledge and resources needed to achieve financial freedom.
The sessions include:

May 7 — Budgeting (Urban League of Greater Madison): Learn the fundamentals of budgeting to efficiently manage finances and reach goals;

May 14 — Debt Reduction (Summit Credit Union): Discover proven strategies to reduce and manage debt;

May 21 — Credit Repair (UW Credit Union): Learn actionable steps to repair and improve credit score; and

May 28 — Homebuyer Basics (Johnson Bank): Gain insights into the homebuying process, covering everything from mortgages to navigating the real estate market.
Each session will also provide a catered meal. Those who attend all four sessions will receive a $100 Home Depot gift card.
