This week, the Green Bay Packers Foundation announced it has awarded a total of $1.5 million in impact grants to eight Dane, Brown, and Milwaukee County nonprofits.
The impact grants represent a new record total amount awarded at one time for the impact grant program, begun in 2013.
In Dane County, the Urban League of Greater Madison received a $250,000 matching grant for an initiative to be announced at a later date.
Three organizations in Brown County and four organizations in Milwaukee County received grants as well.
