The owners of the Johnson Public House, at 908 E. Johnson St., are planning another restaurant — this time an upscale diner at 824 E. Johnson St., according to a Wisconsin State Journal report. The owners, who also have a stake in Mint Mark at 1929 Winnebago St., are renovating a space just one block southwest of their coffee shop and across the street from The Robin Room. The restaurant will serve elevated diner fare for lunch, dinner, and weekend brunch. The owners are planning a full bar and outdoor seating in the back.
