Upland Hills Health was awarded $2 million in federal funding to support the construction of a new senior living campus near its existing hospital and nursing home campus at 800 Compassion Way, Dodgeville.

This funding was included in the recent bipartisan government funding legislation and is designated for the development of modern senior living facilities to enhance care options for older adults in southwest Wisconsin.

“We are deeply grateful for this significant investment in our senior care expansion project,” Mark Thompson, president and CEO of Upland Hills Health, said in a statement. “This funding brings us one step closer to expanding high-quality living accommodations and care for seniors in our region.”

The senior living campus will feature residential spaces and supportive care services designed to meet the needs of older adults, including assisted living and memory care.
